ZTT Outlet FAQ
Common questions about our outlet/discounted products
Why are these items being sold?
At ZTT HQ, we regularly accumulate extra PC components - some are unused parts sent by brands for potential content, while others may be open-box or non-functioning items that can't be returned.
Rather than let them sit and collect dust, we offer them at discounted prices to clear shelf space for new inventory. We're more focused on making room than making a profit - so it's a win-win for both of us.
What's the difference between Surplus/For Parts?
For Parts / Broken Components:
These items have been tested and confirmed to be non-functional. You won't get lucky - they don't work. That said, some may be fixable with basic repairs like a solder job or repasting. At ZTT HQ, we usually don't spend time trying to repair these parts, so they're ideal for experienced techs or tinkerers. No guarantees - buy at your own risk.
Surplus Inventory:
These parts are fully functional. We simply don't need them anymore - whether due to project changes, build cancellations, or excess stock. They've been tested and are ready to go.
Are these items used or new?
Each item is clearly labeled as either "New" or "Used" on the product page.
- "New" means the part has never been used - straight from the box. Possibly opened though.
- "Used" includes anything that was returned by a customer or used in one of our content creation projects.
Regardless of condition, all items sold here come as-is, with no warranty, returns, or support. Please buy at your own risk.
Can I request specific details before buying?
To keep things simple and efficient, we don't offer additional testing, photos, or details beyond what's listed. These parts are priced to move quickly, and our focus is on clearing shelf space - not managing custom requests.
We also can't guarantee things like specific model revisions, serial numbers, or packaging. If any detail is a dealbreaker and it's not clearly mentioned, we recommend skipping the item - everything is sold as-is, first come, first served.
